Manchester-based Quarantine are a unique voice in British theatre, internationally acclaimed for their experiments with everyday life. Recent work includes the world premiere of Summer. Autumn,. Winter. Spring. – an epic 7-hour event comprising 3 performances and Quarantine’s first film – at a former TV studio in Manchester in March 2016.
Jo Fong is a professional dancer, with over 20 years experience dancing with world-class companies. Sonia Hughes is a writer and a dance-floor queen. James Monaghan is a young performer who says that he can’t dance (but he can) and Nic Green is a performance maker currently working with Quarantine as a guest artist. Between them, they possess a breadth of life experience that spans 50 years of music, fashion, politics, friendships, parties, love and loss – the powerful stuff that makes us who we are.
The company have presented work in Leeds for more than 10 years, starting with Susan & Darren and The Soldier’s Song at Leeds Met and Entitled at Stage@Leeds, and more recently bringing Between us, we know everything… and Table Manners to Compass Live Art in 2014.
