Aurora Lubos

Aurora LubosAurora Lubos was born in 1977 in Poland. Since 1999 she has worked in Vincent Dance Theatre.

As an independent artist she created two solo dance pieces, Unfinished and Zanzibar, and installation performances Still Alive (2011), Food Cycle (2011) and Four corners (2010), and sound and object installation No 1 (2003).

In 2005 she was nominated to The Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative.

In the past she has worked extensively with Dance Theatre of Gdansk and Dada von Bzdülöw. She collaborated with Avi Kaiser, and Gdansk’s finest contemporary dancers, making and touring. In the Body, Endstation – ZASPA and performed in Papugaj choreographed by Tatiana Baganowa. With three other artists, Jacek Staniszewski, Oskar Martin and Patrycja Kujawska, she co-founded KLM’S Group and created Te Takie Te. She lives and work in Poland and UK.

She is currently devising a solo performance, Knife, Horse and Stairs, based on characters and stories from animations created in 2010.
