Antonia Grove was born in Reading, and now lives in Brighton. She trained at The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and then joined Rambert Dance Company where she performed works by choreographers Christopher Bruce, Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Merce Cunningham, Glen Tetley, Lindsay Kemp, Ohad Naharin, Richard Alston, Siobhan Davies, Javier de Frutos, Jeremy James, Wayne McGregor, Didy Veldman, Glenn Wilkinson and Rafael Bonachela amongst others.
Antonia has danced for Walker Dance Park Music, The National Theatre, Random Dance, Bonachela Dance Company, Charles Linehan Company, Fabulous Beast Dance Company, The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs and New Art Club.
Antonia has twice been nominated for the Critics Circle National Dance Awards, and for a Time Out Live Award. She featured in the Observer’s listings of twenty-something overachievers.
Antonia founded the award-winning company Probe in 2004. The company is currently touring May, a collaboration with writer Tim Crouch and director Pete Shenton, and Small Talk, a new full-length solo work for Antonia by choreographer Wendy Houstoun.
